Literacy Programs:
Scientology Volunteer Ministers tutoring children using L. Ron Hubbards study technology.
|
Members of the Founding Church of Scientology Washington, D.C. give hundreds of hours each week to tutoring local children and adults. These programs, geared to the individuals needs, are based on the educational techniques and researches into the area of how to study by Scientologys founder
L. Ron Hubbard. Mr. Hubbards contributions to the field of education are recognized around the world. The tools he developed to help children, high school students, college students as well as adults be able to read, fully understand and apply the material they are reading or studying are revolutionary. Being able to study correctly towards the purpose of applying what one is studying is the goal of any person, but solutions to the barriers to knowing how to study were hidden until Mr. Hubbards breakthrough discoveries. Church members using their very simple but powerful techniques tutor citizens in a classroom setting and on a one-on-one basis. The courses are given at the Church as well as at local community centers.
